Join myself and Mark Roseboom from Lone Butte Fishing Adventures this fall for our Cariboo Stillwater School as we explore the numerous productive lakes located along British Columbia's Highway 24. Highway 24, also known as BC’s “Fishing Highway,” is a 97-km route that winds across the Cariboo Plateau, offering access to over 100 pristine lakes for fishing and water sports in the Land of Hidden Waters. From Kokanee and Rainbow trout to Lake and Brook trout, the fishing here is unmatched. As the locals say, “fish a lake a day, for every day you stay.” We will be day-tripping to different lakes along the Highway 24 corridor, nestled amongst spectacular scenery each day. This trip will include scheduled time on the water with me and with guides from Lone Butte Fishing Adventures. With the fall timing of this trip, the trout will be entering the shallows and cruising the shoals as they feed aggressively to prepare for the upcoming winter ahead.
